There’s only a few days left until Christmas Eve! Whatever you are baking for Santa or desserts, you need J.R. Watkins Extracts and Sonoma Syrups to add that festive flavor. My granddaughter is learning about baking now. She loves to help, and just this weekend asked when I was going to bake cookies for Santa! LOL I had to explain to her that we would be doing that this weekend (but first Gramma needs to feel better as she has some pretty bruised ribs and it hurts to do a lot of things right now). Ok, enough about me, on with the holiday baking post. When it comes to holiday baking, I wouldn’t use anything other than J.R Watkins extracts and flavorings and Sonoma Syrups.
Sonoma Syrup Co.
This company’s delicious line of artisanal infused simple syrups are perfect to infuse with warm baked goods and sweet holiday beverages! All ingredients contain no preservatives, no artificial flavors, or colors, and are gluten-free and Non-GMO. Sonoma, a name derived from Native American, meaning ‘village of the earth’, is steeped in culture and rich in tradition. I received the Peppermint and Pumpkin syrups. I used the peppermint to flavor hot chocolate and OMG it was fantastic! I usually don’t like peppermint things, but I guess as I get older, I’m changing. LOL I want to do the pumpkin pie latte, but I don’t have dark coffee, hoping to get to the store tomorrow to get some. Check out their recipe page for festive holiday recipes and their coffee recipes for holiday coffees.

I’m a Gramma to a beautiful, funny, smart little girl who was born in July of 2014. She’s the joy of my family and I’m so very proud to be a gramma (an alternate spelling for grandma)! I am a coffee, music, movie and outdoor lover! I love festivals and concerts. Spending time with my family is the best time in my life. I love my blogging job and all it has given me.
