Twas the night before Thanksgiving Poem
I want to wish you all a very HAPPY Thanksgiving for 2021. I know this year the holidays mean more to families who gather every year. In 2020, the holidays just seemed fake! It was so strange not being able to be with our loved ones. I’m so happy that this year will finally feel like the holidays again! Enjoy this night before Thanksgiving poem.
Twas the night before Thanksgiving and in my sleep, Strange dreams in my mind, began to creep.
Thanksgiving leftovers beckoned — The dark meat and white, But I fought the temptation with all of my might.
Tossing and turning with anticipation……
The thought of a snack became infatuation…..
So to the kitchen I did race. Flung open the door, and gazed at the fridge full of goodies galore. I gobbled up turkey, buttered potatoes, pickles, carrots, beans and tomatoes.
I felt myself swelling so plump and so round,
Till all of a sudden, I rose off the ground!
I crashed through the ceiling. Floating into the sky….
With a mouthful of pudding and a handful of pie.
But I managed to yell as I soared past the trees.
Happy Eating to all and save me some left overs please!

I’m a Gramma to a beautiful, funny, smart little girl who was born in July of 2014. She’s the joy of my family and I’m so very proud to be a gramma (an alternate spelling for grandma)! I am a coffee, music, movie and outdoor lover! My family and I love picnics, festivals and concerts. Spending time with my family is the best part of my life. I love my job as well! Blogging and product reviewing has given my family and I a lot and I have also learned a lot and made a lot of friends.
This is so cute!! I love this, I wanted to print this out for my friends but no way to print this..
