Let’s see what’s in the November 2017 Degustabox!

One thing I have always loved is that they include a description sheet of everything that is in the box, it includes a bit of info on the product and the price.

The Lovely Candy Company Caramels in Pumpkin Spice, 2 oz. – Buy a 6 oz bag for $4.99
These are individually wrapped and incredibly soft. So soft that they literally melt in your mouth. Out of the three possible varieties, I received the pumpkin spice flavor and well, I’m not a big caramel fan so I didn’t have the heart to try them out. Sorry

Walkers Scottie Dog Shortbread Cookies, 3.9 oz. – Retail Value $4.49
I LOVE shortbread cookies!  These are so cute, I hated to eat them! LOL  These Shortbread cookies shaped like Scottie dogs are delicious. They come in a tray to cut down on the crumble action.  Perfect for your afternoon coffee, hot cocoa or tea. They even included a .75¢ off coupon to buy more!

Bauducco Mini Panettone, 3.53 oz. – Retail Value $2.99
This is an Italian-style sweet bread with chunks of dried fruit in it that seems to gain popularity around the holidays. I don’t think it’s a fruitcake, but it has a similar vibe. I am not a huge fan of dried fruit in bread, but this stayed super moist and I enjoyed it with coffee in the morning.

Country Archer Jerky Co. Turkey Jerky in Hickory Smoke, 1.5 oz. – Buy a 2.75 oz. bag for $6
This turkey jerky has really slick packaging. The flavor is hickory smoked, which is awesome! It has a bit of a spice to it, and also a touch of sweetness. It’s a bit on the drier end of the moisture scale and comes in smaller chunks. The package was consumed in 10 minutes between my daughter and I. 😉

Bell’s Seasoning, 1 oz. – Listed Value $2.99 (Buy at Famous Foods for $3.69)
I will be honest, I didn’t even try it.  My husband is the one in charge of cooking this Thanksgiving and well, he wanted it all quick so no recipes for anything.  It looks like it’s a good seasoning though.  It has a “150 years of tradition” seal on the front. You can tell it’s been around for ages, but I’ve never heard of them. LOL  This came with a recipe for stuffing on the back.

Goya Flour Tortillas, 8 ct – Retail Value $1.94
These are flour tortillas. You can make breakfast or dinner tacos, burritos, or even a pizza! Tortillas are a staple in my kitchen and since these are on the larger size, they can also be quesadilla’d for a quick snack.

Aneto Natural Chicken Broth, 34 oz. – Retail Value $8.99
Now that winter has arrived off and on here in Louisiana, it’s soup season, which means this large carton of chicken broth came at a great time. You can use this for stuffing, you can use it to make homemade chicken noodle soup, etc. The info sheet mentions you can also use this with risotto and stews (yum). The best part is that there are no GMOs, preservatives, or other nasty ingredients in it.

Goya Mild Pico De Gallo Salsa, 17.6 oz. – Retail Value $4.29
I can’t have Pico de Gallo on anything, so I ended up giving this to my neighbor who loved it! She said it’s not too oniony, or too spicy, and has a great flavor, so looks like I may have been too quick not to try it.

Rufus Teague Touch ‘O Heat BBQ Sauce – Free Sample (Buy 16 oz. for $5.48) My husband tried it on Chicken nuggets, he said it was good, but not too spicy.  He was expecting heat as the name says LOL

OREO Chocolate Candy Bar, 3.52 oz. – Retail Value $1.99
My husband LOVED this!  I’m not too big of an OREO fan, he is and when he saw it, I knew I didn’t have a shot at it! LOL   He said the milk chocolate is sooooo smooth and creamy, and he wanted more!

Café Bustelo Café con Leche Instant Coffee, 5 packets – Retail Value $2.49
I’m not much of an instant coffee person, I have a keurig and several coffees, that I didn’t get why instant.  To me that’s old school coffee 😉  However, this instant café con leche is pretty tasty. This is a cozy treat for the winter days to come!

Well, there you have it. Another jam-packed box of tasty food and snacks from Degustabox! Favorite items this month were the Oreo candy bar, Turkey Jerky, Dave’s Overnight Oats, Welch’s fruit snacks, and Loacker Quadratini Raspberry Yogurt Wafer Cookies. 🙂 — Remember, for a limited time you can get your first box for just $9.99 (regularly $19.99) — plus FREE shipping! — To score this awesome deal, just use coupon code “UO5ID” at checkout!
