As a member of US Family Guide We were lucky enough to try them out recently and they didn’t last long at all! We received a 9 oz. box of assorted Most Famous Milk Chocolates and also 4 Candy Bars; Caramel, White Chocolate Almond Coconut, Mindy Mint, and Dark Chocolate Almond. Mrs. Cavanaugh’s is based out of Utah and makes some of the best chocolates and candies around. All candies are made with fresh ingredients without preservatives.

Mrs. Cavanaugh’s Traditional Assortment box of chocolates has a chocolate covered cherry (with the liquid juice, not the sweet white stuff!) I was so excited, that’s my favorite candy! It also has Orange Crème which tasted awesome! Not too sweet and not too orangey of a flavor, just the right combo of sugar and flavoring. The box also included Stand-Up Caramels, White Trinidad, Raspberry Creme and many more in the 9 oz box.  My daughter tried the Mindy Mint and wanted more! She really enjoyed the subtle hint of mint and chocolate together.

We love Mrs Cavanough’s candy. The pieces melt in your mouth! They don’t taste stale like some candies from the store can taste. They are also not too sweet! Which is an A+ in the candy department in my book! We really love these. I am a chocolate lover, but can’t over do my sweets which makes these perfect for a nice treat. They even have sugarless chocolates!!

In 1972, the family moved to Utah, leaving good friends and their beloved cattle ranch.  “It was a difficult decision, especially for George,” Mrs. Cavanaugh said. “He was excited about making our new venture, which we chose to call Mrs. Cavanaugh’s Candies, a great success.  We felt Utah was blessed with good chocolates and that we would enjoy – and could compete with – those who pride themselves on making excellent chocolates. ”Millions of pounds of chocolates later, Mrs. Cavanaugh’s candies have earned a reputation for unquestionable excellence. Ask chocolate aficionados.  They will direct those seeking the best chocolates to the popular Mrs. Cavanaugh’s Candies.
