Freya Arctic Cleansing Water Review

Have you heard of Freya Anti-Aging Skincare products?  I haven’t;  I knew of their hair care line, so when I found out they had skincare, I wanted to try it out.  I received the Freya Arctic Cleansing Water to review.

I have combination skin and basically I use Noxzema to clean my face because it doesn’t dry it out.  Even though the Arctic Cleansing Water is not oil free, the product is nutrient-rich and designed to absorb quickly and completely into the skin, leaving a matte, “air-brushed” finish all day long.

Freya Arctic Cleansing Water

Info about Freya’s Arctic Cleansing Water:

“A beauty secret passed down through generations, Scandinavian girls are taught by their mothers to cleanse their faces only with ice cold water several times a day, which re-energizes skin and encourages blood flow. We’ve developed our Freya Arctic Cleansing Water to mimic the rejuvenating effects of this tradition with the necessary functional effects of an ultra-gentle cleanser, leaving your skin beautifully clean and refreshed, without drying it out. Arctic Antioxidants provide extra protection for your skin.”

To use: Simply put some on a cotton ball or makeup pad and gently massage onto your entire face, neck and chest area. It removes dirt, oil and makeup with no rinsing required.

I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical about the Freya Arctic Cleansing Water, because you don’t rinse it off your face.  I thought it may be sticky or something, but I quickly learned that was not the case! After you use it, you do have a sticky feel to it, but after a few minutes, it’s gone.  It wasn’t so sticky that I wanted to rinse it off!  There is definitely a difference in my skin since using Freya. My face is soft, looks better and I love that I can remove my makeup and clean my face at the same time and toss the cotton ball away instead of having a little missed makeup on the face cloth!

  1. It looks like a really neat product. I too was able to try a Freya product, the face cream one. However, I would be a little hesitant to try this specific Arctic Cleansing Water as you don’t wash it off your face. Although, I’m thinking it might be similar to like toners where it tightens your face a little, but cleanses at the same time. Anyways, nice review!
