Holiday Coffee from Community Coffee! Enjoy Pecan Praline and Cafe Special with dessert! #HolidayGiftGuide2015

Community Coffee

Some of you may remember the new seasonal flavors Community Coffee introduced last year Pumpkin Praline and Golden Caramel, if not, you can read it here. This year, I contacted Community coffee and asked to do a review on their Pecan Praline and Cafe Special K-cups.

When I received the package, it was around lunch, as my husband was home. When I opened it, I got a surprise!  The nice rep had not only included a 12 ct box of the Pecan Praline and Cafe Special K-cups, he also included a 12 ct box of the Pumpkin Praline!  See when I asked about doing the review, I asked when that flavor was coming out, as I couldn’t find it.  That was so sweet of him to do that for me! 🙂

The great thing about coffee is that it is so versatile that it’s good anytime of the day, hot or cold, and there are so many variations on how to make it. I prefer my regular non flavored coffee over ice with milk, vanilla and cinnamon, but I also occasionally like it hot in my favorite cup with sugar and cream. Flavored coffee is just sugar, except pumpkin praline and golden caramel, I add sugar to both and the pumpkin praline will get caramel flavored creamer and the golden caramel will get pumpkin spice creamer.

Pecan Praline Coffee Review:
Enjoy the Southern flavors of pralines and pecans in this delicious coffee that is sweet with added hints of pecan. I would recommend Pecan Praline to anyone that loves a warm aromatic fragrance during the brewing process and of course for any coffee drinkers that want to try something with a nice hint of Pecan flavor, this coffee is like an excellent dessert slammed into a hot or ice cup of coffee. I drink it with a little sugar and no creamer/milk, I find the creamer/milk takes away from the flavor.

Cafe Special Coffee Review:
The Community Coffee Cafe special has a smooth and full bodied coffee flavor, not bitter like some other coffee brands I have tried. Community Coffee quickly found a place in our coffee rotation since our first review in November 2014.

Sometimes I end up running to the coffee shop with my sister or daughter, but more often than not I drink my coffee at home and enjoy it even more. So far we haven’t had a disappointing flavor from Community Coffee, so their flavors will always find a permanent place in our coffee maker and cabinets.

You can purchase Community Coffee at any grocery store, Walmart/Target, Sams, etc, and you can also purchase it online!

I highly recommend these coffees and the Pecan Praline is going into my Holiday Favorites section of the blog 🙂  If you have a coffee lover on your Christmas gift list, Community Coffee has some wonderful coffee gift baskets (my favorite is the Santa mug basket) and other gift options you may be interested in.

About Community Coffee:
Community Coffee is the largest family-owned and operated coffee company in the U.S. It was started in the early 1900’s and it continues to offer high-quality blends made with 100% select Arabica coffee beans that delight coffee lovers. Community Coffee is available in various flavors including Carnival Cake and Breakfast Blend

In 1919, Henry Norman “Cap” Saurage discovered the secret of making this great-tasting coffee in his country store in Dixie, Louisiana, near Baton Rouge. He named his coffee “Community” in honor of his community of friends. In 1924, he closed the store and converted his backyard barn into a coffee mill, using coffee beans purchased from a local roaster. Over the years, Community Coffee Company would take countless steps to ensure the quality of its product. In 1955, the company began importing green coffee beans directly from coffee plantations in Brazil. In 1970, a new plant was built on the Mississippi River in Port Allen, Louisiana. In 1980, Community introduced the nation’s first vacuum-sealed coffee package. Community Coffee Specialty L.L.C. is located in Baton Rouge, LA.
