Gracen, my love, if there is one thing I want you to remember, it’s that everything your Grampa and I do and will do in the future, is all for you. I will help you learn how to bake, like I did you mommy. We will have fun holiday memories of baking cookies for Santa. Grampa will be there to teach you to ride a bike or scooter. We will both be there to play with you in the tent or play house.
As you get older, we will both be there for you to give you advice when you ask for it. Comfort you when you are sick or upset. Listen to you talk about boys, although no boy will ever be good enough! LOL Grampa thought that for your mom, and he will think that where his precious baby girl is concerned.
Grampa and I want you to know that you have brought something to our life that we did not know was missing. You brought us joy, laughter and so many fun times. We can’t wait to see the beautiful young lady you will grow up to be, but at the same time, we want you to stay our little baby girl.
Thank you for reading a story from #BehindTheBlogger Hop. Every 2 weeks a group of bloggers is given a writing prompt. These prompts are very open ended, so our bloggers can write about whatever they desire. The main rule is that their blog post directly relates to the topic of that week. The point of this hop is for our readers to get to know us on a personal level.
Please hop along and read all of the blog posts in this weeks hop. Just click the links below. If you want real and raw emotion, then you will find it here. After you read each post, please comment and share. We want to get to know you too!

I’m a Gramma to a beautiful, funny, smart little girl who was born in July of 2014. She’s the joy of my family and I’m so very proud to be a gramma (an alternate spelling for grandma)! I am a coffee, music, movie and outdoor lover! I love festivals and concerts. Spending time with my family is the best time in my life. I love my blogging job and all it has given me.
