It’s that time of the year again – time to start up with your health goals. But, this year, I do not want you to set out to lose tons of weight or hurt yourself working out too hard. Instead, I want you to set easy, attainable goals such as these:
Using reusable straws (and cups, for that matter) is a healthy habit for yourself and it’s also a great way to benefit the environment. Some of the benefits when it comes to using reusable straws are:
Longevity — they last way longer than plastic and other types of straws. Saves you $ too!
Durability — they are able to withstand wear, pressure or any damage.
Sustainability — they are environmentally friendly. Save the animals! Save the environment.
Convenience — they are easy to clean, and portable, which is so handy if you love to travel or if you commute to work.
Safe — they are safe to use. Unlike plastic straws, most reusable straws are glass, steel, or silicone, which is much safer than plastic.
Celery Juice – Every Single Morning
If you have not jumped on the celery juice by now, get ready to. Drinking celery juice has SO many benefits — I’m surprised that most doctors do not write up that prescription. Medical Medium is known for his stance on celery juice. Here’s what he says it helps with:
- Critical for chronic acid reflux
Acid reflux means 3 things are happening: low hydrochloric acid production, unproductive bacteria such as strep and e. Coli & a weakened liver. Celery juice helps improve these.
- Fights autoimmune disease
Pathogens are the true cause of the inflammation that’s mistakenly considered autoimmune. Celery juice’s undiscovered sodium cluster salts can break down & flush out these pathogens.
- Helps restore adrenals
The undiscovered sodium cluster salts in celery juice help keep your adrenals stable & functioning.
- Contains undiscovered sodium cluster salts that reverse illness
Celery juice undiscovered sodium cluster salts act together as an antiseptic. When they make contact with viruses & bacteria—troublemakers responsible for chronic illness—the salts begin to break down the pathogens’ cell membranes, eventually destroying them.
- Neutralizes & flushes toxins out of the liver
Celery juice’s sodium cluster salts bind onto neurotoxins, dermatoxins, & other viral waste, as well as troublemakers, & draw them out of the liver.
- Helps eradicate strep bacteria
Strep is responsible for many conditions, like acne, UTIs, SIBO, yeast infections, & more. Celery juice helps destroy strep.
- Kills Epstein-Barr & Shingles viruses
The white blood cells of the liver’s personalized immune system add the cluster salts to their cell membrane coatings, making them toxic to viruses.
- Brings down toxic liver heat
Celery juice purges a sluggish liver while bringing down liver heat.
- Powerful weapon against SIBO & bloating
Celery juice is a powerful stomach acid replenisher so that gastric juices can kill strep, which causes SIBO. It also breaks down rotting protein & rancid fats in the stomach & small intestinal tract, helping bloating.
- Repairs hydrochloric acid & liver bile production
Celery juice strengthens hydrochloric acid & bile production & strengthens the liver, which then allows for better bile production.
Drink More Than Enough Water
Sugary drinks are linked to obesity, diabetes, and so many other illnesses. In addition, sugary drinks can also be linked to cavities and tooth decay (more on this in just a bit!). I know how hard it can be to limit those sugary drinks because they are so delicious, but they are awful for you. Instead of picking up the soda that you are used to, try picking up a glass of water or a water bottle instead!
I know, I know. You are probably thinking about how hard it is to drink water. It just has no flavor, right? Well, I’m here to help! Try drinking a glass of plain water each morning. That is not too much to ask, right?
Then, alternate with other drinks. So, your next drink could be water with lemon in it. Or, water with cucumbers in it. After that, switch back to one or two glasses of plain water. Then, maybe try a spindrift. The reason I love these is because of the fact that it is just water and a little bit of fruit juice: it’s super clean, healthy for you (as healthy as it can be, at least since there are no additional additives), and it tastes great! Keep rotating through fruit-infused waters and plain water to spice it up a bit and you will be on your way to staying more hydrated!
Flossing Your Teeth
Last but not least, if you are not already doing so, you need to start flossing your teeth. Although any oral care is better than none at all, flossing is so important when it comes to getting out plaque, build-up, and leftover food in between your teeth, which is hard to reach with a toothbrush. Plus, it will also help to keep your teeth white, healthy, and great-looking. If that is not enough to keep your teeth bright and healthy, check out Metro Decatur Dental Group PC.
