Help the three little pigs on their adventures as they build their houses and hope to avoid the huffing and puffing, Big Bad Wolf, just like in the well-known fairy tale. The 3 Little Pigs board game combines skill and a dash of luck. Kids will love the soft and squeezable Big, Bad Wolf that actually huffs and puffs the pig’s houses down!
Goal of the Game:
Players race to build their houses in order of the well-known fairytale: Straw, Sticks and Brick. The first player to build their house of brick is the winner!
How to Play:
1. Each player chooses one of the pigs to play and gets a house plastic stand of that pig’s color.
2. Players take turns rolling the die. To get started building your house, a player must rest roll a ‘pig’ on the game die. After a player has successfully collected their pig, they try to build their houses in order of the well-known fairytale.
3. When a player rolls a wolf on the die, he takes the soft and squeezable Big, Bad Wolf, and tries to blow down one of the other players’ houses, causing that player to have to start all over again.
What’s in the Box:
1 blowing plastic wolf.
3 plastic stands.
3 pig cards.
3 houses of straw.
3 houses of sticks.
1 house of brick.
1 die + sticker sheet.
This super cute game can be played by a child as young as four with an adult. It is limited to three players, but you can play the game with just 2 players. The parts are well designed and the wolf puffer is adorable. Based on the nursery rhyme, it’s simple and easy for the target age group, but we would have liked it it more if the wolf head wasn’t so hard to squeeze and get it to blow…even for adults! It’s hard to see how the designers of the game could so poorly design such an important element of the game and not have tested it with kids to make sure they could work it.
