Disclosure: I am part of the #LumiaSwitch project where I received a Lumia 830 Windows Phone for review purposes. As I discover what I love about this phone, I’ll often share with you. #SponsoredbyLumia
I have always been an Android user. I’ve heard from a lot of people that the Android is the better phone, so I never tried anything else, until now that is. When I found out about the Lumia Switch campaign, I wanted in on it. I figure it can’t hurt to see what a Windows phone is like. This is a 6 week campaign and if I like the phone, I can keep it, if I don’t, I can return it, so no harm, no foul! 🙂 I received the Nokia Lumia 830 Windows phone to review and I am very happy about that, I’ve heard it’s the better of all of the Lumia phones! 🙂
Ok so first thing is to transfer my contact info from my android phone to the Lumia 830. In regards to doing this, I have to give a lot of credit to how easy this was to do. With the built in transfer tools and clear directions, the process took less than 10 minutes.
Please note, you do need a Windows Account, if you don’t have one, (and I didn’t) you need to create one in order to download apps and to log into accounts native to your phone.
I can’t wait to learn more about this phone! I’m excited to get to know more about the Cortana Virtual Assistant. So far, I am loving the new phone, it’s so lite! It’s skinny and I did try the Mix Radio and wow the speakers are loud LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!
Please follow along to see how my Lumia Switch goes, it may help you decide if you’d like to make the switch along with me.
Sharing is Caring 🙂
