Hi…According to the FTC laws, I have to tell you upfront that the Jiva Cubes ($18 value) mentioned in this post were received for review purposes and no compensation was exchanged. With that being said, please remember reviews are of our opinions and true to the fact. Thanks for visiting.
Jiva Cubes! A NEW coffee product that is simply DELICOUS!
If you like coffee and hot chocolate, you’ll love Jiva Cubes! If you dislike instant coffee, you’ll change your mind with Jiva Cubes, I did! I like coffee, I especially love Starbucks, and I really dislike instant coffee, which means I don’t like Starbucks VIA coffee. HOWEVER, I signed up to do Jiva Cubes coffee, because it was different and I thought, it couldn’t hurt to try it! LOL Glad I thought that, as this coffee is DELICIOUS!
What are Jiva Cubes?
Jiva cubes are individually packaged cubes of pre-sweetened gourmet Colombian coffee, handpicked and free of preservatives. All you need to do is put 1 to 2 cubes in 8 ounces of hot water, wait 30 seconds, stir, and enjoy. Hot or Cold, its Coffee on the go!
These are is less acidic. Sweetened with Pure Brown Panela Sugar; a healthier alternative to white sugar which tastes amazing (not too sweet), and even diabetics can enjoy it. And, with eight flavors to choose from like Mocha, Pecan, Amaretto, and Caramel, just to name a few, what’s not to enjoy? On top of all that, Jiva Cubes are also Vegan, Gluten-Free, Non-GMO, Kosher and Free Trade, they are also very easy to use!
Jiva Cubes works with Farmers associated with the National Federation of Coffee Farmers in Colombia, which allows the company to form relationships with them and their crops. It also allows Jiva to ensure that their ingredients are Fair-Trade and always socially as well as environmentally conscious.
When I received the box, it was like unwrapping a gift, it was tied with a brown bow. I received a box of 28 Cubes and 5 different flavors.
8 Classic, 4 Hazelnut, 4 French Vanilla and 4 Caramel Coffees. I also received 4 Caramel Hot Chocolate and 4 Regular Hot Chocolate.
The first flavor I tried was the Jiva Classic. A delicious coffee with a slight sweet taste. If you like Black Coffee you will still enjoy it as it’s NOT sweet sweet – a very slight sweet taste that adds to the flavor of the coffee.
I am NOT a huge fan of instant coffees, but this coffee was great! I felt like I was drinking coffee that I’d normally drink. I like sugar and cream in my coffee, so I added some sugar and some cream, it was a little sweeter than I like but still enjoyable! 🙂 A friend said that the coffee made her “feel like she just had a great tasting cup of coffee in a coffee shop. Very tasty!”
The next flavor I tried was Hazelnut. Upfront, I dislike Hazelnut coffee (I’ve found I only like the Hazelnut iced coffee from McDonald’s) and I have to say that I enjoyed it this hot cup of hazelnut coffee! Yes, I changed my mind about hot Hazelnut coffee, however only with this company! LOL 🙂 The hazelnut flavor has just enough flavor in it, that it is not over powering like it is in some coffees. I did not add cream to it and I did not add as much sugar as I did for the classic and enjoyed it a lot!
Next was the Regular Hot Chocolate. The directions say it can be fixed with water or milk, however, I did not use water, I used milk and it was nice and creamy! Unfortunately I did not get a chance to enjoy all the flavors, but I figure they will all be fantastic. I know my husband will love the caramel flavors as he likes that flavor, so I saved them for him. (He’s been under the weather lately).
All in all I enjoyed the coffee and hot chocolate and I would like to take this time in the review to say Thank you to Jiva Cubes for allowing me to enjoy this new coffee, I believe I will be purchasing some in the near future. 🙂
A pack of 24 cubes costs $15.00 which will still average out to less than your average coffee house cup. The price seems well worth it for the amount of quality and convenience you will be getting.
