I was given the opportunity to try one of the FlatBread Freschetta Pizza. I’ve wanted to try it, but like so many other frugalistas, I won’t pay $7 for any pizza if I have not tried it and even if I like it, I’ll only purchase it if I have a coupon for it. 🙂
My husband and I went to Walmart and purchased 2 pizzas, one was PizzAmoré Pepperoni Dou which is a combination of both spicy and mild pepperoni and the other was a Naturally Rising Supreme. We ate this pizza one night and about 2 nights later we had a Digiorno pizza supreme and I can tell you the Freschetta Pizza WON! I must say that this pizza was in the words of Rachael Ray, YUMM-O!!
We ate the supreme which was loaded with veggies and meat! I was filled up with 3 pieces, and usually with frozen pizza I can eat 4 or 5 slices. My husband ate 4 slices then went back about 2 hours later for my 1 left over piece. lol We were pleasantly surprised that this crust tasted so good! This was delicious! The sauce did not taste “cheap” or “frozen.” It was more like we were at Pizza Hut!
Will we buy it again? My husband said this was the best pizza and he doesn’t care if it’s $7, he wants more, so YES! Especially when it is on sale since it is one of the higher priced pizza’s in the aisle and especially if I have coupons for them.
